M. S. Dhoni has continued his success story in IPL too. In the opining match of the 4th edition of IPL Dhoni's Chennai Super King beat Gautam Gambhir's Kolkata Night Riders. In this nail-biting clash which was decided on the very last ball of the match Anirudhh Shrikanth, son of K. Shrikanth ( Chairman, Selection Committee) played a vital role with his  64 runs knock at the start of the inning.

With the help of Shrikanth's half century & usefull innings of Suresh Raina (33) & M S Dhoni (29) Super Kings managed to reach score of 153 with 7 wickets down in 20 overs.

In reply to that Kolkata started well as Jacque Kallis made half century at the top. But as Kallis fall, Night Riders inning scrumbled. No other batsman was able to stay on pitch. Eventually Night Riders needed 9 in the last over of  Team Southee. But Southee contained them just to 6 & Super Kings registered their 1st win of the tournament.
